A Project on the MakeWay Shared Platform
The CommUnity Doulas Projects brings 12 months of Community Based Doula care to Black families. With the intended goal of raising awareness to maternal health disparities, while providing more in-depth, high-quality community care.
Writing
My writing often explores themes related to health disparities, culturally responsive care, and the power of community networks. Through this work I aim to amplify the voices of communities like mine, and shed light on the systemic issues that impact them.
CommUnity Doula Training
In 2023 I developed a community doulas postpartum training. The training was first developed for the Regent Park community, equipping a group of mothers with the skills to better care for themselves and their communities.
